Finally, I Got My Page Rank Back (PR4)!

The latest Google Page Rank update is over and Blogging Mix is now PAGE RANK 4.

Actually, the first Page Rank that Google gave my blog was PR 4. Then after I got caught for doing sponsored posts (with links made DOFOLLOW), my page rank was demoted to 3. Despite the page rank demotion, I ignored Google and didn’t stop doing sponsored reviews. Google finally slapped me with a BIG FAT ZERO page rank afterwards.

With a Page Rank of ZERO I wasn’t able to attract more review offers. Naturally, because my page rank was then zero, revier offers for Blogging Mix has declined drammatically. This has significantly affected my monthly revenue as most of my income is generated from doing sponsored posts. That’s the time I realized I needed to do something to win my page rank back.
In less than a week after I made all the necessary changes on my blog to comply with the webmaster guidelines prescribed by Google and after submitting it for reconsideration, Google gave me back my page rank of 3. Congrats on your page rank. Google has once again decided my blog is not worthy which is annoying as i have only ever accepted one paid post out of more than 150 posts and i dont sell links.

My main blog is still at PR 0 although it got bombed waaay before I started SPs. Must be TLA. I filed for reconsideration last week but so far not change.
BTW, my other blog and my forum has PR 2 =p

@ David,
To be penalized for 1 paid review is not fair. I have seen alot of blogs with lots of sponsored reviews on them and yet they have their pr intact. You should apply for reconsideration. Good luck man.

It feels good when someone calls me ‘Kuya’. Makes me miss my family. I’m sure if you show Google that you’re serious about getting rid of sponsored posts on your blog that they’ll give back your PR. I still do sponsored posts but I implement a nofollow on the links. Thanks for dropping by bro.

My PR was also decreased to 3. I’ve already sent a reconsideration letter to google however it was not replied yet. My blog is still stuck at PR 3.

Congratulations on your new PageRank. Does this mean that Google has effected PR changes all over the net.I have also noticed that my PR has moved up from 1 to 2. My blog is quite new. It is just four months old.

I think you are right Rocky, Google has just updated PR all over the net, as a lot of blogger have reported their PR’s gone up. Mine too, from PR2 to PR3

Congrats on getting your page rank back. One of my niche sites got a pr 4 so I am way excited. My flagship blog was still too new, so I only got a pr 1, but next pr update, i hope to be a 4 or 5.
